South Dakota Wow!!!!

First stop on this leg of the trip was Crazy Horse Museum. As we approached this magnificant work of art, there were no words except "Oh my God"! Our jaws dropped and our eyes bulged. An unbelievable carving of such magnitude. Of course, it is not complete only the head of Crazy Horse can be viewed. The outline for future carving can be seen and we will never see the completion in our live time. We wandered around the museum, listened to a video where we were introduced to the sculptor and his family. Quite interesting.

After Crazy Horse, we were off to check out Mount Rushmore. Another terrific view, just a lot smaller than Crazy Horse.  Lead and Deadwood, South Dakota were the next adventures and we finished with Devil's Tower in Wyoming. Sorry that there are not more details but the internet connection is terrible here in West Yellowstone, Montana, so typing and posting need to be done quickly. Here are some pictures of the past few days.
